Unit 1 of Leningrad II nuclear power plant has started the final 15 days of tests

Unit 1 of Leningrad II nuclear power plant has started the final 15 days of tests, during which it will be brought to the 100% power level. 
On completion of the tests, ROSATOM said it will apply to regulator Rostechnadzor to put the unit into commercial operation, which is expected this autumn. 
To date, the VVER-1200 unit has supplied more than 1.8 GWh of electricity to region’s grid.
