Unit 1 of Novovoronezh II has produced more than 10 TWh of power since its launch

Unit 1 of Novovoronezh II, Russia’s first VVER-1200 reactor, has produced more than 10 TWh of power since its launch — equivalent to the annual electricity demand of the Voronezh Region where it is located.
The unit was connected to the national grid for the first time on 5 August 2016 and, following pilot operation tests, was put into commercial operation on 27 February last year.
