Unit 1 of the Leningrad NPP Stage II has successfully completed tests required at the minimum controlled power level

Unit 1 of the Leningrad II nuclear power plant, in Sosnovy Bor, Russia, has successfully completed tests required at the minimum controlled power level in preparation for start-up this spring. 
Andrey Kolychev, head of nuclear safety at Leningrad NPP said data corresponding to the neutron-physical behaviour of the reactor core were fully in line with technical requirements for the VVER-1200 unit.
